Whey to go bread!


Yep - it's white, but I didn't want to try this with expensive flour in case it didn't work.  Therefore, I used up the rest of my white flour.  But why, I hear you ask?  Or WHEY?  haha.  Geddit?

I had some whey left over from making ricotta and I was going to be damned if I was going to waste it.  A quick internet search and I came across this recipe.... and made the best bread ever.  It was absolutely marvellous....if white. Next time, I will try the same recipe with less sugar and some more wholesome flour.

Mmmmm...imagine it spread with the fresh ricotta.
